A group exhibition rooted in the tradition of the salon — where art is experienced not in isolation, but in conversation. Works selected not around a predetermined theme, but for the way they speak to one another across time and mediums.

Each piece carefully selected and even more carefully arranged. This show moves like a current. With longing, fire, and subtle power laced throughout. Maroon, gold, amber, and black — like embers — dance across the wall from one piece to the next. There are works that reach toward the past and others that strain toward the future. There's a circle-of-life energy running through it all, a quiet power that doesn't announce itself — it just holds you.

Two estranged college friends reunite in a Brooklyn art gallery the night before a show. As old resentments and buried memories resurface, tensions rise and the truth about a defining event from their past begins to unravel.

Curated Group Exhibition

In-between solo exhibitions, Gallery ATARAH presents a fully curated group exhibition featuring Brooklyn-based and regional artists working from authentic self-exploration. These professionally installed shows provide a platform for artists creating outside traditional gallery structures, with work selected through careful attention to visual and emotional dialogue between pieces.

Open submissions, no submission fee, no predetermined themes. Artists benefit from professional presentation, marketing support, and an artist-friendly 65/35 commission split.

Monthly Open Studio

Join us the first Friday of each month for casual art viewing and community connection. These open studio gatherings offer a low-pressure way to experience the gallery's salon wall—which rotates between collected vintage works, Atarah's recent pieces, and occasional guest artists—while meeting other creatively-minded neighbors.

The format is intentionally relaxed: drop by to see what's currently on view, have a conversation, and experience the working studio atmosphere. No formal programming, no pressure to buy—just an open door into the creative process and a space to engage with art in an intimate setting.
